As the Graphic Designer for C&S, we have an ongoing relationship that started as an intermittent freelancer to in-house designer with weekly meetings and check-ins. The work they have needed so far have been videos and motion graphics, website updates, posters, postcards, flyers, and various touch points; starting with design and often even production and promotion. Within C&S I have created and updated branding, made new collateral, logos, and visual aides; using established guide lines, and updating them when necessary.
Key Achievements:
Repeatedly producing new and fun promotions.
Participated in group development of growing products and pitching new ways of advertising to customers.
Grew from freelance contributor to in-house designer.
Created a poster/flyer series for print, Instagram, and Facebook promotion to create awareness about Cone & Steiner's new ice cream by the scoop deal.

PROMOTIONS
As I may have started in my position creating visual material for print and social media posting, I quickly started getting involved in the creation of the promotions from altogether.
Flyers and Postcards
Flyer Back
Frequent change ups and a variety of visual language keep the same message fresh.
SOCIAL MEDIA COLLATERAL
instagram & facebook
Certain promotions were created directly for IG and FB, but a good deal of what I designed would involve taking a single piece of collateral I made and making sure it could be published in a variety of formats and sizes.
PROJECTS & MORE
Get people in the door
Along with the creation of marketing material, I became involved in coming up with promotions and deals to increase sales. This meant communicating with managers, buyers, and COO on every step of the process.
happy hour and beyond
Thinking outside the box for ideas became quite normal. Such as we often did many Happy Hour promotions for the beer on tap and wine, but temporally had to put a hold on alcohol sales. So we started pushing sales of family friendly beverages such as cocoa, coffee, and cider.
ENVIRONMENTAL DESIGN
Giving the owner and management an idea of what the could do to change up the in-store environment and used PS to create some possibilities.
COLLABORATION
C&S team up with seattle made
While working with C&S collaboration with other businesses, creatives, and local staples was par for the course.
One of the first tasks was creating a logo for the collaboration between C&S and Seattle Made products. While creating many ideations of a merged logo, what made everyone happy was a simple merging of the 2 horizontal versions of their logos.
VIDEO PROMOTIONS
While collaborating with Seattle Made, we started a promotion of bringing in founders and creators of the products sold in store to speak about their origin, process, and product.
Part of the strategy to bring in for this speaking series was making short videos for social media. We call it “What’s In Your Basket”. It was simple, fast, and effective. I would interview the proprietor featured while they shopped the store and shared their favorite recipes and local products.
